I was looking for an instagram client for a while now. This one looks promising, although the current release (1.0) crashes when i try to resize the app window. Keeping my fingers crossed for version 1.1 ...

well, i wasted my money. cant open it. crashes at the start. its sad, because the app looked interesting...

I actually emailed the developer about the launch-crash problem on OS 10.7.5 and they replied back quite quickly. They know about the problem, theres v1.1 awaiting Apples approval, so, those of us on Lion either upgrade to Mountain Lion or wait for the new version of this app and hope for the best. Ive given it 1 star but only because it wont launch… to be updated when the new version is out.

To be clear, this app enables you to view yours and others Instagram feeds, it does NOT enable you to make Instagram-styled images from your own photos to be added to Instagram. I bought the app thinking it was a Mac version of Instagram - it is not. But for what it does, which is viewing Instagram feeds, it does very well. I support the Developers efforts, I just should have done a better job of reading (and understanding) the apps description.

Still doesnt work a month later, after plenty of wasted time on trying to update. I did pay for this app !

What a sham. $4 sham. DOES NOT ALLOW UPLOADING? Why else would I want a desktop app. I’m certain they were counting on people who don’t closely examin every feature. Burned again.

I didnt read description carefully thinking that can work with photos like with Instagram. MISTAKE. Can do nothing, just to view instagram photos. What is even worse - i dont see my photoalbum from Instagram. Huge mistake. I dont recommend, loosing money.

Downloaded this to my Macbook Pro. Wont launch. I think installed an update, and still wont load. No good

Pretty simple, if you create an Instagram app for Mac it should 1) Open, 2) Display Photos, 3) Display Comments and Likes, 4) View Large Photo and 5) Search Tags/Users. If it could do these things without issue Id say you have a 5 star winner to start. Too bad its clumsy and crashes all the time.

I saw this and figured this looked like a fantastic application to finally integrate and post pics from my computer onto instagram. Unfortunately this is not a full fledged instagram app, but a viewer. It allows you to see your feed, comment and like photos and search for other photos to look at. I was really hoping to see full instagram style integration and the ability to post photos form either iPhoto or Aperture (or just a jpeg on the desktop)but it is not so. The viewer itself is okay, while not bad for a 1.0 release, It is a bit sluggish and in full screen it does not look right. I am sure (and hoping) that these issues will get taken care of in future updates. If so, the application will be very nice.

I just downloaded the app but it wont open at all. Please fix!

incredibly clumsy and poorly designed. there are many superior clients available for the mac.

I can not find the features it was listed on the website. For example it says you can change the themes but i have yet to find a setting to do so. I want my dollar back!

I absolutely LOVE Instamac! People complaining of crashes clearly do not see the warning message in the description that clearly says the app temporarily does not support Lion… I rarely write reviews, but Instamacs interface is fantastic. Its unobtrusive, and the pinch to zoom features are great. I also love the commenting interface, and simple profile view.

bought this 2 secs ago, have tried opening it a million times, it doesnt work it just says there is an error!

That doesnt even share my photos on Instgram but i get to look at everyone elses. This is a rip-off!

Paid for APP, and it wont open. Installed update, still wont open. Restarted iMac, still wont open. What a waste of my time.

This application does not even work for Macbook Pros. What a waste of time. Very disappointed!!
